Photo Blog #009 - My Baby

My Baby, originally uploaded by babybo0.

Isn't she a cutie?
Yep, she's mine!

My little cousin is grown up now. It's been five to seven years since I've seen her. I am also her god mom =).

So I am her Ate and Ninang. I love this girly so much!

Hey Hey!

I told you I'd be back.

Bare with me since I really have nothing to post here.
I still need a permanent server that will support my huge files including songs. When I got my internet connection back, the username and password at TELUS was changed. Now, I have no idea how I will store my big files. Plus, where to upload a song... =(

I just want to post the lyrics to this particular song. The whole thing does not relate to me. Only some parts, where I will state in bold.
Here we go:

Monica - What Hurts The Most

Boy, it's been a long time
Since the last time I saw you
Feels like nothin' changed
Since we've been together
I must admit that I go crazy 'bout you

And I can see it in your eyes
That there's somethin' you want to say to me
'Cause usually right now
You'd be holdin' on to me
But instead you're tellin me

Things have changed, they're not the same
And recently you found someone that you
Decided to dedicate your whole life to
And what we had has got to be through

And baby, what hurts the most is letting go

I just want you to know that I love you so
I know things are different now, you've gone and settled down
And I thought for sure you'd always wait for me

I'll tell you what hurts the most is I should have took the chance
Boy, when you came to me and offered me your hand
Silly of me I thought I'd always have your heart
I had the chance to have all the love oh, how I'm missing you now

I hate that there is someone new
Comin' in and takin' my place
Doin' the things that we used to do
And makin' love to you

And oh, what am I supposed to do

It's killin' me 'cause I want you
And you should have known my love was true
And there's no one else in this world for me but you

I know that I'm the one to blame for losing you, oh, yeah
I really, really wish that I could be happy for you
There's just one thing I need you to do
Don't you touch her like you used to touch me
Don't you love her like you really need me
Don't you love her like you used to love me

-o-o-

Ok... most of them are in bold, huh? But yeah... it's really hard to forget about this guy especially when our paths cross often. I have moved on and he has too but there's just something about him that I can't get him off my mind.

*ahem*

I want to update soon. =)

The iPod mini has finally reached my house. Thanks, Charles!
For the past two days, I have been quite busy putting songs in the mini. So far, I have 99 songs! 901 more songs to go! Joke.
I slept with this last night. The songs were coming out of the earphones since I cranked the volume up to maximum. I didn't need to put the earphones in my ear because I would not be able to hear my alarm clock in the morning. I woke up refreshed even though I did not get enough sleep. =)

Last day of school tomorrow before the break. I hope we don't present our Macbeth skit tomorrow because I'm no longer in the mood. Plus, if we do, it will give the other groups more time to practice.

One more week

Spring Break is coming! They say that everything goes very quickly (school-wise) after spring break. I can't wait to chill, relax, and go crazy during spring break.
The past week has been great.

Thursday
Yan picked us up from school since we got off at 12:35. It was crazy. He came from the back of the school, drove up front with the loud Nelly song. He was pimping for a simple person! Hehe. Once we got into the car, it was humid so all windows were down. The best way to describe cooling off is like a dog sticking its head out the window while the wind blows its fur. Ok... ok... then Pretz passed by. Yelled out his name and all he could say was, "Who was that?"
Drove to Mon's because she forgot her wallet then we had a joy ride along the nearby streets. Our driver didn't know where to go and we were all like, "where are we going?" We're pretty bad passengers since we didn't tell him where to go and where to turn. Nonetheless, it was fun riding around. It was like a rollercoaster ride especially when we went up The Bay.
We went in the mall, stayed there for 10 minutes because we were deciding where to have lunch. We didn't eat at the mall so I went to the bank and Rj went home to get her wallet. After, we dropped Meg off at Burnett to see her boyfriend since it was almost 2 pm.
Then off to Hon's we went. My treat. =) So busog, meyng!
After, we got bubble tea... yummie. Drove around more and we dropped Monica at the B-Line station. It was almost 4 so Yan dropped us home but we stayed in the car for 10 more minutes.
When we got home, Rj and I fell asleep on the couch. Kabusugan!

Friday
Let's sum this up.
Yan arrived late. We sat in front of Tommy for around 15-20 minutes talking about how bored we were. Then we walked around outside until we got to Daimaru. Rj decided it was late and she wanted to go home. We walked her home and walked back to Daimaru. We were hungry so we started grabbing the dishes fromt he conveyor belt until we say the sign, "$1.50/plate on the belt. (Dine In Only)."
We didn't see that coming so Mon put back the salmon sushi on the plate and we counted how much we already got. Five plates. Five plates times $1.50. We didn't even bother counting. When we got the bill, we were surprised that they didn't charge us for the plates. Maybe because if it's not all you can eat, they will charge you. Besides, Mon asked the guy if we can grab the dishes on the belt and he said yes.
Yan gave his card to the cashier and he tried at least three times and it wasn't approved. So we each contributed cash and told the cashier to keep the change. Hilarious. Yan went to his bank and the machine said he had $0.00! =D He said it always happens so we told him to switch banks. Haha.
Then it was Mon's turn to go to her bank and withdraw money. Suddenly, I realized that the birthday card that my aunt asked me to buy was left in the restaurant. Yan was about to go and get it when I said it's ok since we can buy a new one. While waiting for the 401, Mon and Yan seemed to have been light cat fighting. Such girls! Jokes. =) 3 minutes in the bus and we decided to go back home. It took about 30 minutes waiting for the bus to come and we even called Translink. Machines are taking over people! Haha. We got up because we thought we saw a bus but it turned out to be a big truck! Tsk.
Then the real 401 came. From afar, I didn't see if it was the 401 and I said, "I don't care what bus that is, we have to get on!" Haha, I was panicked because it was almost 12 and I have no idea what my parents would say. I'm guessing... they would ask a lot of questions and they did.

Saturday
Waited for Yan to come. Rj, Yan, and I walked around to see where we can eat. We even had our backpacks with us. Such geeks, huh? Well, Yan carried mine. We finally got to Korean BBQ and ate. Got full and walked to the library. Rj and I started to do work and Yan started to read the Math 11 book. I know he was bored but still he stayed with us. I was so sleepy that I took 30 second naps. Torture. Then the fun part came... we got bubble tea! It was crazy in the library because once it's 4:30, the announcement comes on stating that the library will close and after that the Chinese version kicks in. They continued that for every 5 minutes and during the last 5 mins, they played this song that will get you very irritated! "Closing time...." That was the song. Eyng!
Passed by Rj's to drop off her book and while we were waiting downstairs, an elderly woman sits beside Yan and started talking in Chinese. All Yan did was just look at her while Rj and I held in our laughter because Yan looked weird just looking at the woman. Tsk.
Then we went home to mi casa.

Pretty long entry. Keep going.

My 17th.

What a pose!

Mon, you're so far.

I might upload later. Time to go to church.

I'm bored of doing my English Soliloquy!
I'm too lazy to finish it right now and study for my Socials Test.

While I was browsing, I came across this:

Yup, it's an Emily mini doll. It's only $13.51. Cute, eh?

I'm Seventeen & my mom's birthday.

I'm Seventeen, originally uploaded by babybo0.

Isn't this lovely? Anna sent me this greeting. Thanks a bunch! I love it. =)
Thanks for everyone who remembered my birthday and greeted me. Most people thought my birthday is on Saturday because that's when my parents decided to celebrate my birthday. Even my dad jokingly thought my birthday was not until Saturday. Sheesh.
To think of it... your birthday is almost like your mom's also because she gave birth to you on that day so it is like her birth day also. =)
My abs, shoulders, and chest aches from working out. It is a must since I plan to go swimming soon. Eyes shutting down. Ugh.

Sunday, February 27, 2005

Yeah Anna! You're keeping it to yourself.
Rj, nasa Philippines daw yung CD 12. What are we going to do? I still haven't really watched the last CDs. Kala panaman natin may reason why CD 12 wasn't there. Anymore Korean movies?

Six Potatoes... Twin babies... how adorable.
Two more days and I am Seventeen. Thanks to the people who have been greeting me 'Advanced Happy Birthday'. Thanks for reminding me that I'm getting older. Birthday Wish...*World Peace* oh diba? Pero ok narin ang $cash$ hehe. *inside joke*.

So Tito Henry has been reading my fortune for two weeks now and so far wala akong angal. Right, Rj? *wink* What it showed in the cards were somehow true and exciting. I can't wait until Saturday so he can tell my fortune again. I should learn how to do that.

Listen to this Smile For Me - Massari feat. Loon.
Ciao.

Heading to the Fashion Show.

Photo Blog #008

, originally uploaded by babybo0.

I found this when I was cleaning up my computer.

I'm so glad to have you people

I've been sitting on my butt for the last two or so hours transferring pictures from my computer.
I found the pictures I was going to use for this project that I was going to do. Keyword: was.
Yes, it was a long time ago. I just don't know how and what program to use. I want to have some kind of slideshow with the pictures and have a song playing on the background. I probably started it two years ago and I still haven't accomplished a thing. Help!

Nine more days and people have been asking me what I want for my birthday. All I say is "nothing, you don't have to get me anything." Their reply is always, "no no I want to get you something for your birthday. I'm asking you because I want you to like my gift." How sweet, eh? I just can't wait till the summer. That would be some kind of gift. =)

I ate so many times today already. I ate before I went to church, ate after church (pancake breakfast), and after that, dim sum. I'm sleepy now and I know the effects of the food are starting to kick in. Where is my ab slide?

Rose Shadow

Rose Shadow, originally uploaded by babybo0.

Can you see this? It's a shadow of a rose.

Thank God the interview was a success. The song "With a Smile" helped me also because it reminds me not to be scared and just keep on smiling.

I found out this morning that the single girls won the Lip Lock that The Beat organized. Basically, it was a contest for four couples and two single people competing for a $5 000 cash and a photo shoot. They had to kiss as long as they can at The Bay downtown in front of the store window in order to win. Not bad for two strangers who are the same gender to win, huh?

Tomorrow are the Biology and Spanish exams. I am just taking a break right now. Hehe. I haven't even started studying for Spanish yet.
I'm just glad that Mr. Rutherford will not give us the written part of the exam. Thank God. =)

At school, I was happy to find out two of my marks even though my Capp grade decreased. Mrs. Hirayama brought us to the lounge and made us do our "model thing." We had to walk in some kind of rectangular routine just to give us an idea for our upcoming fashion show. We will walk down to the beat of Pharell (hehe) Change Clothes! The thing is, we only get to have one practice next week and we can't back out. This is Mrs. Hirayama's last year of teaching at our school so I'll support her.

While I was studying for Bio, I was also watching Fools Rush In. I must say that it was awesome. I have watched it one and a half times but not in one sitting. I want to purchase that movie and watch it over and over again. The gorgeous Salma Hayek is in love with Chandler err, Matthew Perry in the movie.
Of course, I still have to watch Bcuz Of U again for I haven't seen the movie as a whole and the stories will make you smile up to your ears and find them very sweet. It's probably the first movie of Sandara and Hero. I can still remember Sandara's line... "I want to see the Philippines, like in the postcards." Ain't it cute?

Oh yea, There's no school on Thursday (woot woot), but there is on Friday. Daymnit.
I'll go back to my studying. Crapperz.

*14 (2 weeks)* ; 4-5 more months. Patience.

Valentines Aftermath

My hair is still wet. Minor headache probably because I need sleep right now and the after smell of my dad's cooking isn't helping right now. In a few hours, RJ and I will be dressed in our best which probably happens once in a blue moon for school. Yes... Capp interviews! Yay!
*Lift your head, baby dont' be scared.* This song helps me find my confidence and reminds me that I have nothing to be scared of.

My addiction is helping me develop my passion for photography. =) Good morning.

Arianne at 17

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIANNE!!!
Stay sweet. (=

The St. Paul's dance is tomorrow. I already purchased two tickets (one for me and one for Aika) so I guess we're going! =P

Local news

I was watching the news earlier for it came on right after Oprah.
"A sixteen-year old girl is missing from Richmond. Josephine has been missing for nine days."
I had no idea but I had this feeling that I might know the girl that they talked about in the news. When the 30-minute program started, they showed a picture of the girl missing. I was right. It was indeed Josephine. I used to go to the same elementary school with her up until Grade 9. As I was walking home, I saw her a few months ago. I cannot believe that something like this would happen. Apparently, during the winter break, she started going on satanic websites. Police believe that she has been lured by the satanic cults (not sure if this is how you spell it) away from home. She was last seen on January 25 after school. More on this story.

This is freaky since I know her. She even told me back in elementary that I had gorgeous lips. She was always been strange and people did not really like her much. On the other hand, I hope she is safe and comes back to her family who is very much worried about her.

Feeling Red

Yes, it's red! I have no idea why. Probably because of February. I think of the colour red because it's Valentine's month! Enjoy this red layout before I get sick of it.

The Ch. 5 quiz will not be on Friday because we had it today. I really thought it was going to be on Friday! Dayumm. Anyway, I don't like the block change at school. I'm not used to it yet and I already don't like it. It makes school such a dread! I can't wait for this week to pass by. There will be a St. Paul's dance on Friday and it should be interesting. Life Teen is sponsoring it so is The Beat. =)

School is being a pain in the ... right now but hey, high school is almost over right? Around 15 more crucial months. I can't wait until paradise... *drools*.
I forgot the rest that I was going to say.

P.S. Go to Charle's shrine for me.

What kind of flower is this?, originally uploaded by babybo0.

Yes! There's a Math Ch.5 Quiz on February 4th! I'm so excited.
Ok, that's not true. I still don't understand 5.3 so I'm dead-ioz. Gotta do my homework meyng! All homework for day 2 will be done on Sunday. I can't believe I said that.

We're almost getting our report cards that's why our teachers are dumping a lot of exams! 2 for math this month, 1 SS, and 1 Bio! How's that study group going to work? I think Mr. Rutherford just wants to give bonus marks but he is not telling us. He's so nice and funny.
As for Capp, there's a hell of a lot of presentations going on! Plus, we have to add English where we have to read passages from Macbeth out loud for participation marks. Eyng.

Last day of work later on at 9 am. I have to get through this shiznitz then I'm jobless again but I'll be free. Right Pretzel? Gagu. It's a nice surprise anyway.

Screamed my head off at the pep rally today. I'm so surprised that I didn't lose my voice totally! I want my own mp3 player now. Melvin's won't charge on my pc. Sucks. Ok, I want an iPod. =) Thank you.

31 more days till I'm 17!

Thursday, January 27, 2005

I'm getting bored of blogspot. I can't believe I just said that.

I need someone to encourage me to study more and do my homework. Because recently I feel very lazy that's probably because of the late nights I come home from work. I am happy to announce though that I quit. Yes, daymn! Haha! I quit. Still, I've got to go work on Saturday which is mine and Mon's last day. I'm hearing freedom calling me.

Almost 5 more months and I'm hitting the tropical! I need to work on my abs though. I haven't done that for a long time and I miss it. I want to look great when I wear my swimsuit which I just bought last summer but I haven't had the chance to wear. Last summer, I didn't get to go swimming. Isn't that sad?

Philippine Airlines, originally uploaded by babybo0.

Hey! It's time to blog again. This time, I'm blogging from Flickr as I am trying out their photo blog. I hope this works.

Thanks for the constant reminders of me updating. It's about time.

See the pic of the airplane? I'm going to ride that soon, but I really have to get over school first. I've said this too many times because I'm stressing on the fact that school comes first before vacation! Daymn it.

O Happy Day!

O Happy Day, O Happy Day!

I was singing that almost the whole time this afternoon just because it is a HAPPY DAY!

You know what I mean?

I'm just making this quick because I have homeworks to do, but I'm happy. =D

BTW, RJ, I'm the sexiest lady you know! ;)

Check out my cousin.

Ciao.

GrRr

My dad took away my cell. Great.

I have no clue what the fukk is wrong with the TELUS plan. My bills always come up to be very high and once in a while I get a spazzing. This time was different. This time the bill was very high and once again I was spazzed at. Mostly from my dad though when he doesn't even pay for my bill. My mom does and she was all calm about it. Having no job sucks because I can't pay for the bill myself. I was ready to pay my mom a part of the amount plus give her my earnings from working at Jacob for a day. I guess my parents are going to pay for it. In return, my dad took away my phone and I have no idea when he's going to give it back. He even thought that I slammed the door on him. GrRr! I only closed the door. GrRrRrRrrrR....

It is so fukked. I hate TELUS. (Ok, only for my cell phone bill because the internet is fast!) Mwahaha!

Still... I'm mad!

Early Late

I just feel like blogging even though I don't know what to blog about. I feel like it's already late because of Charles. Their time in New York right now is 3 hours advanced than here in Richmond. Lol.

Enits suggested for me to update, by the way.

Charles and Joe, thanks for your help even though I figured the answer by myself. Hehe.

I can't put up any new pictures yet because Auntie still hasn't developed the pictures she wants. I can't start uploading them to servers yet for I have to delete them from my pc. Complicated.

Ok, back to finishing homework.

P.S. Yes, it did snow in some parts of California. It was on TV!

Happy New Year!

Oh wow, it's already 2005! We're all going to make mistakes writing the date down on our lined paper. Instead of '04 its going to be '05 and we would need our white out. I can't find mine.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

This January, I really felt the coldness of winter. It wasn't this cold in December because I was still able to wear a shirt outside. Now, even the little puddles have turned to ice. That's how cold it is now.

Isn't it surprising though that in some parts of California, a sunny place, they have very thick layers of snow? The weather shifted to their place. I wonder if that's going to happen in the Philippines. There would be something wrong with the weather for sure!

We have to be back to school tomorrow. I don't want to go back, yet a part of me does want to. As soon as school starts again, time would go by really fast. That's good because next thing we know, it's already summer! I can't wait. Summer is my favourite season although spending summer here in BC is a pain. I need to go somewhere tropical where all the nice beaches and pools are. Yes, although I'm a city girl, I'm also a tropical baby. Contrasting... I know. That's because I grew up in the city but I know I am both at heart. I want to take photographs of nice sceneries.

Take a look at this shot. It's very relaxing and I just love it! I would love to go to those kind of places with my cousins.

It's also wonderful that I have found contact with my former schoolmates from OB. It's so nice knowing them again and realizing that people change. May it be personality or looks, we were all childhood friends!
