Today, we got our first term report card. I was so eager to receive it, but Mr. Knapp was so disorganized that he just layed the envelopes and the blue papers on the tables. It was difficult picking them up with a heavy Biology book resting on my arms.

I was surprised to see my report card. My friends even saw it before I did and I heard positive comments so that must mean it wasn't terrible.

Yay! No line of 7's. My parents were happy about it, but my dad made a joke of me having a "7" in my marks. Pssh.

I even got a reward from Tita Lita. Hello, red money! Thank you.

O Christmas Tree

My mom finally found a place to put our Christmas tree instead of decorating the Bowflex.

Math Mid Term Test on Tuesday. I have to finish my homework and study for it.

It's the weekend

My parents and my tita went to Seattle on Friday, so when I got home from school, nobody was around. It felt weird because I am so used to coming home with the lights on and usually, someone would be home. Last Friday, no one was home.

I took a shower after and right on time, Cathy and Rj came. Good thing I was already dressed! Haha. Friends knows best, that's why they brought food with them because there was "nothing" to eat at my house. How was I going to surive the weekend without my parents? No one was going to cook meals for me... or so I thought.

It wasn't long after we ate when Melvin came, but Cathy and Rj had to go because it was getting dark. I was stuck with Melvin! Yuck! Hehe, just kidding. We had fun watching "Otso-Otso" which I watched probably for the third time. Even Melvin memorized the lines from the movie already. After that, we watched "The Bride of Chucky." Aika was coming at 9 pm and I did not know what to feed that girl. So around 8, I prepared the ingredients to make Chow Mein. Around 10 minutes later, Aika arrives. I thought someone was going to drop her around 9 and there was no food yet! The dance practice was cancelled. All right, she watched Chucky then.

I was half sure I knew what I was doing for the Chow Mein. Melvin helped me with it by stirring the ingredients around in the pan. We should have shredded the chicken first instead of doing it in the pan. Boy, that was difficult. The vegetables kept jumping out because the chickens kept moving. They were still alive! Haha, just kidding.

After about an hour, the Chow Mein was cooked. Of course, we had a couple of sessions adding more and more soy sauce to it because it tasted bland at first. The result was heavenly though because that was the first time I ever made Chow Mein and it tasted good! Ok... with the help of Melvin, but all he did was stir. No worries.

There were a lot of dishes to wash, but thankfully Melvin was there. I was watching him wash the dishes and I was amazed. He took the time to scrub every single piece. Now I know who to hire when I have my own house. Hehe.

After Chucky, we watched "Otso-Otso" again, this time with Aika. I fell asleep on the couch not realizing that it was already about 10 when I woke up. I took little naps that night until the movie was finished. I think Melvin went home around 12. I asked him to leave because it was late. If he didn't leave, he could have ended up sleeping over. Eyng?!

Drastic

While I'm resting because I got slashed by the edge of my computer desk, I found this very cute phrase from here.

My slashes sting, hurt, and they were bleeding so I covered them with a band aid. It stings so much that I'm not able to walk. I alredy tended my cut with ointments, so I should be fine.

Feeling Lazy

Just because of the uncertainty of what to do with the English project, I have become lazy to do any homework. Fudge, I'm so full! My hun is obsessed with checking out guys. Speaking of that, I wanna be a cashier part time. Oh yeah, whenever I speak about him, he shows up. That proves the saying of... "speaking of the devil". Ha ha ha!

Gutom

Everyday after school, my Kuya goes off to his part time job. I always ask him if he can still do his assignments and study for his exams since he's already in Gr. 12. Soon, my dear Kuya will be graduating from high school. I asked him if he is excited that his high school days will be over and he will be moving on with his education. He told me that the reason he's working at his part time job every after school (and on weekends), is because he's saving the money he earns for us to spend in the Philippines. "Gusto ko mag enjoy tayo duon! Promise ko sayo hindi masasayang ang trip natin this time!", was what my Kuya said. With our cousin getting married this coming summer, things will be really exciting! I asked my Kuya if we are going to go to the Philippines after I graduate from high school. He told me, "syempre naman! All grown up na ang princess namin nyan eh!" I can't believe I have a sibling that's this sweet. Even though, I get pissed off at him at times when he's bugging me, I know he's done it out of lambing. I love my Kuya. He's almost like a second dad to me. Haha. Just kidding. He's more like a best friend that lives with me at home.

I remember one time when I got home tired from a basketball practice. It was around 8 pm so I started on my homework. I didn't even realize that I fell asleep until I woke up around 6 am. I panicked because I haven't finished my homework. When I looked on the desk, I didn't find it there. So, I looked in my bag and I found it. It was just shocking that my homework was finished and I recognized the writing. My Kuya did my homework for me! I immediately went to his room and woke him up with a hug. I said, "Thank you, Kuya!" "Nakatulog ka na kasi eh. Ayokong zero ka sa assignment nyo." That made my day.

I really don't have a Kuya. Or in this case, any siblings. I've been longing for a Kuya, but that's too impossible since I'm the first born. It would be really awesome if I had one. All I can do is imagine, right? I'm still blessed with Kuyas though! I have a lot of older boy cousins and I call them Kuya. In our family, I am the princess. I've always wondered why. The only explanation I could come up with is because I'm an only child in both of my parents' sides. But then, I found out that I have a Kuya cousin that's also an only child. So there's no definite explanation of why I am special to my family, except I just am.

This came about because I miss my cousins so much and I can't wait to see them again. We'll have so much fun together. We always do.

I got to have pictures with them when I get there. =)

No inspiration

Did you see the lunar eclipse? It was so awesome to observe. I only took glimpses of it because it was cold that night. It's cool though seeing the variety of images and colours displayed by the moon. I learned that it's actually the earth's shadow covering the moon but only for a short period of time. I thought it was some other planet covering the moon! *AhemMikeAhem* The next lunar eclipse will be on March 3, 2007 so be prepared!



I'm sleepy! Fall and Winter are the seasons when you want to sleep early and wake up late because it is chilly. Let's hybernate like a bear! Haha. I'm sleepy!
