Trans fat goodies

Lately, I have been eating a lot of spring rolls and empanadas! I cannot resist them because they are just so daymn yummy! The problem is, they have to be deep fried in order to savour them. I learned so much about trans fats in Socials class and it is scaring me!
I keep exercising then I go eat them yummy stuff. This is what happens when you have too much time in your hands and you are waiting for school to start. Speaking of that, I need a new printer so I can do my CAPP homeworks, daymnit.

Then, there's the fashion show. I have only made one thing and the teacher wants us to model two of our own projects. Gotta stop eating so much fried foods!

So, working at Jacob was over. It was only for a day. It was also the first for everything. First for working at a clothing store, first time closing in a clothing store, first on boxing day, first for free food at a clothing store, first for getting bored and tired at a job. Can't wait for payday because my wallet is empty! Ha. It will just end up in my bank. Eyng?!

In 6 months... Philippines Time Baby!

I want to tour around the Philippines! Maybe not in one summer because there's a lot of nice places to visit and one summer isn't enough.

Any suggestions of where I should visit? Resorts? Beach spots? Malls? Places to have fun? Haha. I'm so excited. I have to go through Grade 11 first... daymn. Time should fly by quickly after the Christmas Break. Yay. =)

Blog

Every morning my alarm clock goes off at 5:50.
I turn it off and turn on my radio and I sleep again for about another hour with The Beat on. I must have been half asleep because I was resting and listening to the radio at the same time.

They talked about what the popular word was on search engines. Believe it or not, it's the word blog.

The DJs defined a blog as a webpage where a person can write a journal entry. It was hilarious because they were making jokes about blogging. I was amused by the DJ, and not by the joke because of how he was making these high pitched voices.

A Reason To Smile

After about two weeks, we got a call from the dentist's office.
I didn't even know about it until my mom gave the phone over to me. What could this possibly for. I asked my mom first and she told me that it's about my retainers.

RETAINERS.

So then I took over the phone and I was asked when I'm available to have an appointment. It's good that there's no school on Friday so I will be going to the dentist that day.
I need someone to come with me on that day since my dad can't drop me off. Come with me?

I got two appointments. One on Friday and another one next Saturday which is at 8:30 am!

I'm making a big deal out of this, huh? That's because I never experienced having braces or retainers before and it would be cool to find out what it would feel like to wear them. Also, my dad almost didn't want me to have one. It was a total blackmail! He said, "do you want it for aesthetics or do you want to use the money to buy a ticket for the Philippines?"

The dentist said I needed to have retainers or my teeth are going to start moving. It's so soon that I'm getting my retainers, so that's a reason to smile. Plus, it's only for my bottom teeth.

Today, we got our first term report card. I was so eager to receive it, but Mr. Knapp was so disorganized that he just layed the envelopes and the blue papers on the tables. It was difficult picking them up with a heavy Biology book resting on my arms.

I was surprised to see my report card. My friends even saw it before I did and I heard positive comments so that must mean it wasn't terrible.

Yay! No line of 7's. My parents were happy about it, but my dad made a joke of me having a "7" in my marks. Pssh.

I even got a reward from Tita Lita. Hello, red money! Thank you.

Math Mid Term Test on Tuesday. I have to finish my homework and study for it.

It's the weekend

My parents and my tita went to Seattle on Friday, so when I got home from school, nobody was around. It felt weird because I am so used to coming home with the lights on and usually, someone would be home. Last Friday, no one was home.

I took a shower after and right on time, Cathy and Rj came. Good thing I was already dressed! Haha. Friends knows best, that's why they brought food with them because there was "nothing" to eat at my house. How was I going to surive the weekend without my parents? No one was going to cook meals for me... or so I thought.

It wasn't long after we ate when Melvin came, but Cathy and Rj had to go because it was getting dark. I was stuck with Melvin! Yuck! Hehe, just kidding. We had fun watching "Otso-Otso" which I watched probably for the third time. Even Melvin memorized the lines from the movie already. After that, we watched "The Bride of Chucky." Aika was coming at 9 pm and I did not know what to feed that girl. So around 8, I prepared the ingredients to make Chow Mein. Around 10 minutes later, Aika arrives. I thought someone was going to drop her around 9 and there was no food yet! The dance practice was cancelled. All right, she watched Chucky then.

I was half sure I knew what I was doing for the Chow Mein. Melvin helped me with it by stirring the ingredients around in the pan. We should have shredded the chicken first instead of doing it in the pan. Boy, that was difficult. The vegetables kept jumping out because the chickens kept moving. They were still alive! Haha, just kidding.

After about an hour, the Chow Mein was cooked. Of course, we had a couple of sessions adding more and more soy sauce to it because it tasted bland at first. The result was heavenly though because that was the first time I ever made Chow Mein and it tasted good! Ok... with the help of Melvin, but all he did was stir. No worries.

There were a lot of dishes to wash, but thankfully Melvin was there. I was watching him wash the dishes and I was amazed. He took the time to scrub every single piece. Now I know who to hire when I have my own house. Hehe.

After Chucky, we watched "Otso-Otso" again, this time with Aika. I fell asleep on the couch not realizing that it was already about 10 when I woke up. I took little naps that night until the movie was finished. I think Melvin went home around 12. I asked him to leave because it was late. If he didn't leave, he could have ended up sleeping over. Eyng?!

Drastic

While I'm resting because I got slashed by the edge of my computer desk, I found this very cute phrase from here.

My slashes sting, hurt, and they were bleeding so I covered them with a band aid. It stings so much that I'm not able to walk. I alredy tended my cut with ointments, so I should be fine.

Feeling Lazy

Just because of the uncertainty of what to do with the English project, I have become lazy to do any homework. Fudge, I'm so full! My hun is obsessed with checking out guys. Speaking of that, I wanna be a cashier part time. Oh yeah, whenever I speak about him, he shows up. That proves the saying of... "speaking of the devil". Ha ha ha!

Gutom

Everyday after school, my Kuya goes off to his part time job. I always ask him if he can still do his assignments and study for his exams since he's already in Gr. 12. Soon, my dear Kuya will be graduating from high school. I asked him if he is excited that his high school days will be over and he will be moving on with his education. He told me that the reason he's working at his part time job every after school (and on weekends), is because he's saving the money he earns for us to spend in the Philippines. "Gusto ko mag enjoy tayo duon! Promise ko sayo hindi masasayang ang trip natin this time!", was what my Kuya said. With our cousin getting married this coming summer, things will be really exciting! I asked my Kuya if we are going to go to the Philippines after I graduate from high school. He told me, "syempre naman! All grown up na ang princess namin nyan eh!" I can't believe I have a sibling that's this sweet. Even though, I get pissed off at him at times when he's bugging me, I know he's done it out of lambing. I love my Kuya. He's almost like a second dad to me. Haha. Just kidding. He's more like a best friend that lives with me at home.

I remember one time when I got home tired from a basketball practice. It was around 8 pm so I started on my homework. I didn't even realize that I fell asleep until I woke up around 6 am. I panicked because I haven't finished my homework. When I looked on the desk, I didn't find it there. So, I looked in my bag and I found it. It was just shocking that my homework was finished and I recognized the writing. My Kuya did my homework for me! I immediately went to his room and woke him up with a hug. I said, "Thank you, Kuya!" "Nakatulog ka na kasi eh. Ayokong zero ka sa assignment nyo." That made my day.

I really don't have a Kuya. Or in this case, any siblings. I've been longing for a Kuya, but that's too impossible since I'm the first born. It would be really awesome if I had one. All I can do is imagine, right? I'm still blessed with Kuyas though! I have a lot of older boy cousins and I call them Kuya. In our family, I am the princess. I've always wondered why. The only explanation I could come up with is because I'm an only child in both of my parents' sides. But then, I found out that I have a Kuya cousin that's also an only child. So there's no definite explanation of why I am special to my family, except I just am.

This came about because I miss my cousins so much and I can't wait to see them again. We'll have so much fun together. We always do.

No inspiration

Did you see the lunar eclipse? It was so awesome to observe. I only took glimpses of it because it was cold that night. It's cool though seeing the variety of images and colours displayed by the moon. I learned that it's actually the earth's shadow covering the moon but only for a short period of time. I thought it was some other planet covering the moon! *AhemMikeAhem* The next lunar eclipse will be on March 3, 2007 so be prepared!



I'm sleepy! Fall and Winter are the seasons when you want to sleep early and wake up late because it is chilly. Let's hybernate like a bear! Haha. I'm sleepy!

Proud Daddy

I was just in the living room singing because I got too bored with doing homework. I was singing a variety of songs even though there's not much options with the given mic. Anyway, I sang "Open Arms". I don't know who sang it, but when I was in the middle of the song, my dad said, (it sounds better in tagalog) "Kayang kaya mo kantahin ang kanta ni Daddy ah." I found that very sweet for some reason because not very often he refers to himself as "Daddy". Don't get me wrong though, he is my dad and he knows it. Lolz. Plus, after the song, the mic gives a score. At first I thought I was going to get double 0's, but when it stopped, it was a fat 100! Everyone was proud. Thank You.

Yesterday, I woke up early because I wanted to meet the cast of Degrassi, The Next Generation. They were going to be at Richmond Centre and I called RJ to ask her to come with me. Eyng, her line was busy. Thank God for Aika! She was supposed to come over at my house that morning anyway. We got to see "Jimmy" first and he really looked cute. A guy from CTV was interviewing him for like the longest time. The Beat was there providing music and give aways. Aika and I got to have pictures with "Paige", "Hazelle", and "Ellie" plus their autographs. None with "Jimmy" because he was all over the place busy with interviews.

It's crazy I woke up early today. It's probably because I fell asleep again without turning off the electronics and lights in my room. Oh wellz, I hope my parents don't spazz at meeee.

I'll get back on this later, but RJ said to write about him. Won't she get tired of me always talking about him? I can't help it. Maybe I am in love...? Joe said I am.
I go nuts, I squirm, I get weak when I see him, talk about him, and when I'm near him.

I thought I got over him, but then I realized that I can't just cover up the feelings that I have. Maybe the love that I had for him was always there. I really thought it was goodbye until recently.

I've finally posted up my new green layout featuring Emily. You dig? I've decided that I need other colours for my layouts instead of just pink and blue. It's still having some minor fixations. To think about it, for me, there's really no 'completely finished blogs'. There's always something to fix and add.

It's 1:02 AM right now. My parents are cleaning up from the Thanksgiving dinner we had. My babies couldn't make it, but one of my babies showed up because he said that he can't resist me. Awww, such a sweety.

Guess what? The Sims 2 didn't work on my computer. It kept having this error pop up after the installation is complete. I even tried installing it at RJ's PC but it didn't work. Boo.

It's Monday and I still haven't finished my homeworks.... I have to read my notes for Socials and Accounting. Those quizzes just never stop coming! Ten vocab words plus Ch.3 reading. Boo. I want to go out tomorrow. I'm so excited to sew a dress for Textiles. I already have my fabric but I think I need more? I think I also forgot to buy the lining. Pax. Well, I'm going to ask the teacher first. Maybe I don't need to. Plus, I need to pre-wash my fabric. My mom said that I just need to soak it in water?

Oh my... I haven't been doing my belly dancing lately. I'm screwed. Maybe I'll work with the Bowflex, but it's going to take awhile until that comes.

The good of it all

I'm here in Accounting and I don't think we have homework because we just finished a quiz. If we do have new work to do, oh wellz. A rock music just played in my ear.

MmMmmm... Krispy Kreme doughnuts and milk.

I need a break from my homework so here I am. RJ just left with a doughnut and she's hoping to see my baby on the street.

Saturday - My friends and I were supposed to meet at the mall at 2:30 but it took a long time since I was waiting for RJ to come over to my house. She didn't want to go by herself to the mall. She arrived at around 2:45 with Cathy who I thought was already at the mall meeting up her boyfriend. We then met Monica outside of my house and walked over to the mall which is like a 3 mins walk. We met up Rob and the only person we were missing was Ryan. He said that he was going to get a haircut once he gets to the mall, so we went over to the barbershop inside the mall to see if he was there. He wasn't. We were just worried that he might not be able to make it on time for the 3:45 showing of The Forgotten. Five to ten minutes later, he arrives. So we headed to the theatre to purchase tickets... actually, Ryan paid for RJ and I. Ain't he generous? He purchased more than enough because he thought Monica was going to watch the movie as well, but she had to meet up with her boyfriend to buy a wedding present.

I really didn't understand the movie though. Can someone please explain it to me? How did an "alien" get involved? And can anyone please tell me why Ryan talks so loud during a movie? Haha. I kept pinching him in the arm because he kept pissing me off and as a result, he got bruises when he got home. Haha! *smiles*

So after the movie, we decided to go eat since all... well most of us were hungry. We were already in the restaurant when Ryan and Cathy comes in asking why we went in. Someone didn't have enough cash with them to treat all of us and it's not a good thing if the girl pays for it, right? Let's leave it at that.

We went to Cathy's house with food we bought. I wonder how we managed... =P
The dinner was fine. We even took pictures after that. Only.... somehow, someone was playing around with my camera and erased all of the pictures! It was upsetting because there were a lot of great shots in it. What can you do... it happened.

I went home and to my surprise... BAM! There was a new TV in the living room. That's why I thought there were visitors at home since it seemed to be loud. I immediately got started on my timeline and up to now, I'm not nearly half done.


Sunday (Today) - My mommy woke me up before 9 am and told me to get up to go to church. I told her I wanted to go at 10:30 so I can get more sleep, so she agreed. RJ went to the 9 am mass and I texted to let her know that I'll be going at 10:30. She went over to my house instead and we both got to church a little bit late. We got seats though, so that was all good. *smiles*

It was so cute how he does those little waves and smiles. Plus, those I don't want to be so obvious looks. Trust me baby, it is obvious. I know. Hehe.

Saboggg

Last night I was so tired that I forgot to do what my mommy asked me to. Major spazzes later? I don't know. I forgot to turn off the TV in the living room and the lights were still on. I also forgot to turn off my PC. I just realized that in the middle of the night. I stood up but I wasn't fully awake so what I did was I just turned off the speakers and probably the lights.... wasn't sure because I was so sleepy. I was practically sleep walking?

While I was sleeping (you know, there are moments when you are kind of awake), my throat didn't feel well so I was guessing I'm sick. My throat hurted

Ok, I'm back. So I woke up and I was right... I am sick.
My throat hurts, my forehead and my neck are warm. Slight fever.

I'm happy that the CAPP thing is over now, but we have a timeline due soon and I have not even started on it. I've got to get a poster today so I can work on it.
Last night we had a 'Girl's Talk', and it was pretty interesting what we compiled up. =) Hehehe.

I miss Annedy so much! He's probably sick as well right now...
You know who's into our love story? This girl *RJ*. We're like a soap opera... she's waiting what will happen next in our story. She sits beside him too, but that's ok because she's our little bridge. *mwahz* beh. Hello! It's currently 12:34 AM and i'm still awake. I just got home from the party. Your welcome Reej for dumping you for the party. It was fun. *love.u* Ok, so here's what happened... When I entered, it was awesome because the music that the DJ was playing were all my type of music! Remember I was hoping for that? I danced my troubles away but I know that they will somehow come back like a boomerang. Actually, I've never seen a real boomerang before. I've only heard of it and seen it on those commercials. Anyway, RJ, listen up! So I notice this dude up on the stage along where the DJ was. Guess what? I thought he was cute because he reminded me of Chicklets. You know... the hair and everything. Even though he was far, he reminded me of your boyfriend! Except, his lips were like some other guy which sounds like the name of the guy that you talk to every night on the phone. Gets? From afar, he really does look like your boyfriend, facing forward or sideways. One thing though, when he came up close, it was a hell of a different story. Well... I guess his front still really looked cute but when he was walking and all I could see was the side of his face, he looked like a girl! He had girly features, skinny legs and he looked younger than us. If you were there, I think you would still have had a crush on him because he is like a carbon copy of your bf only with a little bit of a longer hair. His voice was manly though, turn on? His dance moves... well... let me say, B-Cup!

Get Started, Get Stupid! Just relax... school is just beginning and it's already full of bitterness. I don't like that subject. I don't even want to type what it's called. It's stupid! Haha. Forget everything I said on Sept. 8th, it's... it's... Stupid! Hell with it? Haha. One thing though, *I hope you don't change.* I've got to finish my English or at least get half of it done before I go on and dance my troubles away tonight. Yeah, that's if they have my type of music! Mom kept postponing our shopping time. I want to go before Photo Day. I've got to practice that smile. *smile* Full teeth showing! Just kidding, ewww, geekness. Everything relaxes when you smile, so do it! I have no idea what to say now so.... laterz.

First day

Today is the first of a couple of things. It's the first day of me writing a full blog here. Whew, finally? Yeah. Today was also the first full day of classes at schol. When we walked through the door and stood at the lounge, I felt so small. It seems like everyone else grew. I felt like a little Gr. 8! Ackk. Homeroom was awesome and the rest of the day was too, except for a tiny part which I'm not even going to waste time about it. I'll let it go. Hayyy. *smiles* Should I say that it was a gorgeous day? Yes, it was! GORGEOUS! Oo0ohh, those smiles. =) *smiles* =) Everything was gorgeous because I crush him. One thing though, on Friday we have a Confirmatory Exam for English! Can you believe it? That fast! I think I need to look at some English stuff that I did from last year. Oh well. I hope tomorrow will be as gorgeous as today. It was a pretty fun day today. Haha. Kyootie!
